After studying Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation with Plymouth University in 2011, I became self-employed and have been practicing rehabilitation and soft tissue therapy ever since.  I worked for 8 years as a sports therapist with N2 Taunton Titans RFC and joined North Petherton RFC in 2018.  In the past, I have worked with the British Army, Somerset and Yorkshire cricket teams, alongside osteopaths, chiropractors and other professionals and covered events, tournaments and matches.

My passion for running led me to qualify as a run leader ten years ago and go on to become an EA qualified running coach.  I realised that sharing my knowledge and expertise in these combined areas gives me a diversity of skills and I believe I am fully equipped to see you achieve your goals whilst remaining uninjured, focused and motivated.  This holistic approach will ensure that you become a well-rounded athlete.

Having worked with athletes of all abilities including beginners, I have a passion for motivating others and this is the reason for also qualifying to become a strength trainer.  I believe in re-learning the movement skills for life which many of us have forgotten!  For this reason, much of my work is based around adopting 'optimum posture' (within individual limits) and movement refinement to reduce injury risk and improve quality of life.  As my work is founded on this philosophy,  I can offer something for everyone.  I adapt all my sessions according to the participants as I recognise that there is individuality within all of us.

When I am not working I love to run long distance and have completed a variety of races including 100k ultramarathons in the UK and abroad.
